Fascinated by old materials, Jean Francois Mimilla surveys the ‘Puces de Saint-Ouen’ looking for weathered fabrics, ancient lace, glass beads or dusty photographs to inspire his experimental jewelry. He began under the name ‘Jean Francois Mimilla for Marc le Bihan’ in 1991. In 1996, he decided to continue under his own name. The work of Jean Francois is entirely handmade and each piece comes with a one of kind handmade box.
