Fascinated by old materials, Jean-Francois Mimilla surveys the ‘Puces de Saint-Ouen’ looking for weathered fabrics, ancient lace, glass beads or dusty photographs to inspire his experimental jewelry. He began under the name ‘Jean-Francois Mimilla for Marc le Bihan’ in 1991. In 1996, he decided to continue under his own name. The work of Jean-Francois is entirely handmade and each piece comes with a one of kind handmade box.
